Sujit Kankanwadi

Sujit Kankanwadi serves as the Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Synopsys Inc since March 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate finance and acting as Principal Accounting Officer, leading a team of 380 across 32 countries. Previously, Sujit held the position of Sr. Director - Accounting and Assistant Corporate Controller, managing a 20-member team focused on global accounting guidance and technical accounting matters. Sujit’s professional background also includes significant experience at KPMG as a Senior Manager, where contributions were made to global auditing and accounting projects, along with developing methodologies for SOX audits and international training. Sujit has an extensive educational foundation in accounting, having earned CPA certification and qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, along with a B. Com degree.
