Julie Edwards

Julie Edwards is an accomplished professional in the field of credit risk management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Credit Risk Management at Synovus since April 2019, Julie previously held significant roles at BB&T, including Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer, where leadership was provided to a team of 30 underwriters and lending assistants managing a $1.4 billion problem loan portfolio. Prior positions include Senior Vice President and Portfolio Risk Team Leader at Colonial Bank, and Senior Vice President and Credit Administration Manager at Wachovia Bank. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
