Santosh Kokate

Santosh Kokate has over two decades of experience in the technology and data governance sectors, currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Synovus since November 2005. In this role, Santosh leads the organization's data governance framework and oversees data standards, quality management, and strategic partnerships with business leaders. Prior to this, Santosh held various senior leadership positions at Synovus, including Senior Director of M&A/Technology Modernization and Chief Technology Officer. Santosh's earlier career includes roles at S1 Corporation as a Senior IT Analyst and positions at Vedaris Technology Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior System Executive. Santosh holds a degree from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, earned between 1992 and 1998.
