Marcelo Tamassia is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Global CTO at Syntax since January 2019, Marcelo previously co-founded and held the position of CTO at EmeraldCube Solutions from January 2013 to January 2019. Prior to that, Marcelo was the Senior Director of Technology & Managed Services at CD Group, Inc. from July 2005 to December 2012 and worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at Peoplesoft, Inc. from September 2001 to December 2004. Marcelo holds an MBA from the University of Florida (2006-2007) and a BBA from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (1997-2001), as well as additional education from Stanford University in 2016.
