Syntegra
Alexander (“Xander”) Kerman has built a career on finding ways to do healthcare better, faster and more fairly. With his relentless curiosity, Xander matches wide-ranging private sector experience with a deep biomedical background. Following a stint skiing in Jackson Hole, Xander discovered RWD and value-based care as a researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Center, before attending medical school at the University of Chicago. There, he focused on care delivery efficiency and novel tech-enabled research, before choosing to concentrate on shaping healthcare’s future as a business leader, rather than a clinician. After leaving UChicago, Xander joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG), working on a wide-range of biopharma, public health and medical device questions. He joins Syntegra from nference, a healthcare data and insights company, where he focused on developing a data sharing ecosystem with leading health systems, cancer centers and research networks. Always striving for “better”, Xander also helped launch a digital pathology spin-off that has already found significant early traction.
