Uri Merhav is an experienced machine learning and data scientist with a strong background in delivering innovative solutions for various industries. Currently serving as a Freelance Machine Learning & Data Scientist at Hoss Inc since January 2018 and as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn since May 2018, Uri has contributed significantly to projects resulting in substantial financial gains and improved user engagement. As a Co-Founder of Photobear, Uri focuses on enhancing web image loading speeds utilizing AI. Previous roles include Senior Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn and Senior Algorithms Engineer at Volume Elements, where Uri specialized in advanced algorithm development, particularly in medical imaging. Uri holds a Master of Science in Physics and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
