Antoine Fond

Antoine FOND is a Senior Research Engineer at Synthesia, with a focus on innovative projects in deep learning since March 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Computer Vision Research Scientist at Blippar, where Antoine worked on camera relocalization and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO). Antoine completed a PhD at Université de Lorraine, specializing in image-based localization in urban environments for augmented reality applications. Additional experience encompasses teaching assistance in computer science at Mines Nancy and various R&D internships, including vision-based motion detection at Thales and optical flow computation at ALTEN. Antoine holds multiple Master's degrees from Centrale Nantes, emphasizing signal processing and control, robotics, and applied informatics.
