Isaac Lam

Isaac Lam currently serves as a Content Moderator at Synthesia, focusing on AI safeguards and content policy development. Prior experience includes a role as a Digital Harms Resolution Officer at Netsafe New Zealand, where Isaac supported various stakeholders in addressing online safety issues, and served as an Online Safety Consultant. Isaac interned with the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ), regulating violent extremist content, and contributed to research on extremist groups at the University of Auckland as a Summer Research Scholar. Isaac's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from St Joseph's Institution. Prior to these roles, Isaac served in the Republic of Singapore Navy as an Underwater Combat Medic and worked with the New Zealand Electoral Commission in various capacities.
