Syntho
Simon Brouwer has extensive work experience in the field of data science and technology. Simon is currently the CTO and Founder of Syntho, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Data Scientist at Anchormen from September 2016 to April 2021. Simon also served as a Data Scientist at FrieslandCampina from September 2017 to October 2018 and at Vitens from September 2016 to May 2017.
Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Intern at Valspar, where they focused on comparing traditional and supervised learning methods for color prediction of car paint recipes. Simon received a grade of 8.5 for their work. Additionally, Simon worked as a Studiecoach at StudieCo from September 2009 to July 2011.

From 2004 to 2010, Simon attended Etty Hillesum Lyceum, where they completed their VWO (pre-university education) with a focus on Natuur & Techniek.
In 2010, Simon enrolled at the University of Groningen and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde. Simon completed this program in 2013.
Simultaneously, Simon also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Wijsbegeerte van een Bepaald Wetenschapsgebied (Philosophy of a Specific Discipline) at the University of Groningen. Simon successfully completed this program in 2013 as well.
In 2013, Simon continued their studies at the University of Groningen and joined their Schakelprogramma Kunstmatige Intelligentie (preparatory program for Artificial Intelligence). Simon completed this program in 2014.
In 2014, Simon began their Master's studies at the University of Groningen. Simon pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence and successfully completed it in 2016.
Additionally, Simon enrolled in the Master's Honours Programme "Leadership" at the University of Groningen in 2015 and completed it in 2016.
Continuing their academic journey, Simon pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Philosophy of a Specific Discipline at the University of Groningen from 2014 to 2017.
In terms of certifications, Simon obtained a Docker - Deep Dive certification from Linux Academy in December 2019. Simon also earned a Deep Learning Specialization certification from Coursera in April 2019.
