Synthos
Jarosław Grodzki is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics at the Faculty of Finance and Statistics. In 1994, he graduated from the Post-graduate Studies in Taxes at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
From 1992 to December 1997 he worked at the Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. being responsible for number of IPOs and bond issues. In 1996 he was appointed the Head of Corporate Finance Department. In 1998 he was employed at the Echo Investment S.A., at the beginning as the Sales Department Director and then as the CFO and in years 2007-2008 as the CEO of the Echo Investment S.A. From 2009 he occupied number of management positions in the group controlled by Michał Sołowow. Since 2011 the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Synthos S.A. Currently inter alia also Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board in: Cersanit S.A. and Barlinek S.A. Since 2020 Chairman of the Synthos Green Energy (Synthos S.A. and MS Galleon A.G. j.v.) focused on zero-emission sources of energy. Since 2019 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MS Galleon AG (Holding company in Mr. Sołowow Group).

Synthos
Synthos SA is a Poland-based holding company engaged in the chemicals industry. The Company's activities concentrate on three product groups: synthetic rubbers, styrene plastics, as well as vinyl and copolymer dispersions. Its offering includes synthetic rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, expandable polystyrene, calcium phosphate, soda lime, sodium acetate, vinyl, vinyl-acrylic, latex, chlorine and methanol, wood adhesives and others. As of December 31, 2012, Synthos SA operated six wholly owned subsidiaries, including, Synthos Kralupy As, Synthos XEPS sro and Synthos PBR sro, all based in the Czech Republic, Synthos Fundusz Inwestycyjny Zamkniety, Synthos Dwory 7 Sp. z o.o. and Red Chilli Ltd, based in Cyprus. It also had minority stakes in Synthos Dwory 4 Sp. z o.o. and Synthos Dwory 5 Sp. z o.o. In October 2013, FTF Galleon SA raised its interest in the Company from 48.61% to 58.38%.
