Syria Relief is a strictly humanitarian UK-based Charity, working towards relieving the suffering and supporting the future of the Syrian People.

We hope to accomplish this in 5 stages; Mitigation, Needs Assessment, Response, Recovery and Long Term Development.

Mitigation - Minimizing the effects of the disaster. Examples: building codes and zoning; vulnerability analyses; public education.

Needs Assessment - Planning how to respond. Examples: preparedness plans; emergency exercises/training; warning systems.

Response - Efforts to minimize the hazards created by a disaster. Examples: emergency relief, emergency shelters, medication, disease control. 

Recovery - Returning the community to normal. Examples: temporary housing; grants; medical care, semi-permanent homes, Clinics/hospitals repaired

Long term development - Examples: Reestablishment of local and national governments, Look into ways to avoid a re-occurrence.

Syria Relief has more than 500 members of Staff across the UK, Turkey, and Syria working in unison to offer aid as and when needed to the most desperate regions of Syria.
