Basel Al-Quwatly is a dedicated Technical Support Officer at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent since March 2023, bringing valuable experience from previous work as a Network Engineer Assistant at THEKA For Trade and Info Sys from 2018 to 2020. Education includes ongoing studies for a Master's degree in Web Sciences at البناء المنهجي, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Arab International University, completed in July 2022. Basel also holds a Diploma in Network Engineering from Damascus University, earned in September 2017.

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) is a Syrian humanitarian None Profit Organization. The society was founded in 1942, and admitted to the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1946. The SARC has 14 branches and 84 sub-branches all over Syria. based on volunteers, SARC has around 11,000 Trained Volunteers providing services in First Aid, First Aid Training, Disaster Response & relief, psycho-social support, health services, water and sanitation based on the fundamental principles of Humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, unity, voluntary service and universality.
