Ghalia Alsous is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Accounts Payable Accountant at the Syrian Arab Red Crescent since July 2022. Prior to this role, Ghalia worked at alBaraka Bank Syria s.a. from February 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Universal Customer Service Representative and a Support Services Officer. Additionally, Ghalia contributed as a volunteer member at JCI Syria from February 2021 to February 2022 and was involved in the Academic Support Team at the House of Geniuses Library for Student Services at Damascus University from September 2014 to September 2017. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) is a Syrian humanitarian None Profit Organization. The society was founded in 1942, and admitted to the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1946. The SARC has 14 branches and 84 sub-branches all over Syria. based on volunteers, SARC has around 11,000 Trained Volunteers providing services in First Aid, First Aid Training, Disaster Response & relief, psycho-social support, health services, water and sanitation based on the fundamental principles of Humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, unity, voluntary service and universality.
