Rasha Akbik is an experienced professional in enterprise resource planning, currently serving as the Project Coordinator for the Enterprise Resources Planning Project at Syrian Arab Red Crescent since March 2020. Prior to this role, Rasha Akbik held several positions at Syriatel Mobile Telecom from November 2016 to March 2020, including Enterprise Resources Planning Analyst and Enterprise Resources Planning Specialist. Rasha Akbik is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the People, anticipated to be completed in 2024, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Damascus University, awarded in 2016.

The SARC has 14 branches and 84 sub-branches all over Syria. based on volunteers, SARC has around 11,000 Trained Volunteers providing services in First Aid, First Aid Training, Disaster Response & relief, psycho-social support, health services, water and sanitation based on the fundamental principles of Humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, unity, voluntary service and universality.
