Jennifer Schott

Jennifer Kaplan Schott serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary at Sysco since April 2025. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at ITW from August 2021 to March 2025, and was the Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Caterpillar Inc. between June 2019 and July 2021. At Caterpillar, Jennifer led a global team of over 80 legal professionals, providing strategic legal support in various areas including M&A, corporate governance, and litigation. Jennifer's extensive experience also includes roles at Discover Financial Services, where responsibilities encompassed corporate governance, SEC disclosures, and insider trading, as well as significant litigation experience at McDermott Will & Emery and Locke Lord. Jennifer earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995.
