Naveen Bali

Naveen Bali is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across various renowned companies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Data Platform at Sysdig since August 2018, Naveen specializes in Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Runtime Security. Previously at Nimble Storage, from April 2013 to August 2018, Naveen held the position of Director of Engineering for the Agent division and led efforts in storage protocols, management, high availability, disaster recovery, and data replication. Earlier in the career at Data Domain, Naveen contributed significantly to the development of distributed backup architecture and established engineering teams, while also managing product development and roadmaps. Experience also includes key roles at Network Appliance and Tandem Computers, focusing on software development, project management, and high availability systems. Naveen holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
