Currently serving as a Founding Member and Principal Data Scientist at System Two Security, Yen Chen focuses on developing innovative systems to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats efficiently. Previous roles include Chief Data Scientist and Founding Member at SynthGate, where Yen Chen researched and implemented secure RAG systems for unstructured data. Other positions held include Senior Member of Technical Staff at Lineaje, Senior Software Engineer at NortonLifeLock, and Software Engineer at Symantec. Yen Chen holds a Master of Science in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The technology applies the latest advancements in generative AI for abstracting threat hunting as generative graph traversals and unleashing the reasoning abilities of LLMs against emerging threat patterns.
