Rupert Simons

Rupert Simons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and public administration. Currently serving as a Partner at Systemiq Ltd. since January 2019, Rupert leads the Nature-Food team in Europe. Formerly, Rupert held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Publish What You Fund, advocating for aid transparency to improve aid effectiveness. With a background that includes senior advisory roles in the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative and program management at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, Rupert has a strong focus on governance improvement and agricultural development. Rupert's career began at McKinsey & Company, where roles included Associate and Engagement Manager. Rupert holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
