Krishna Balachander

Krishna Balachander is the Co President of Cross Point Capital LLC, a boutique broker dealer specializing in structured credit assets since June 2024. Prior to this role, Krishna served as a Managing Director at Citi from June 2009 to August 2024, where responsibilities included co-heading a trading team focused on Consumer ABS, consumer loans, CLOs, and Legacy CDOs/SIVs in both the US and Europe. Earlier positions at Citi included Director and Head of ABS and CDO Trading, managing trading of various structured credit assets. Krishna's career began with a role in genetics analysis, programming, and translation at Hospital Sant Pau from August 2004 to August 2005. Education includes a BA in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Virginia (2005-2009) and high school graduation from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (2000-2004).
