Andrew Griezic has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, particularly focusing on bridge design and management. Andrew is currently employed as the Principal Bridge Engineer, Canada, Associate VP at T.Y. Lin International since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at COWI for more than two decades, holding various positions such as Senior Bridge Specialist/Senior Project Manager, Chief Project Manager and Head of Section, Executive Engineer, and Engineer. Andrew also worked briefly as a Design Engineer at Klohn-Crippen Consultants Ltd. and LoBuono, Armstrong and Associates in the early years of their career.
Andrew Griezic earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Carleton University between 1986 and 1990. Andrew then pursued further education at McGill University, where they completed a Master of Engineering degree with a thesis focused on Civil Engineering (structural) from 1990 to 1992. Andrew subsequently obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering (Structural) from McGill University, a degree they pursued from 1993 to 1997.
