Philemon Burney has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Philemon started their career as a Tutor at Flinders University in 2001 and worked there until 2002. From 2003 to 2010, they served as a Teacher and Network Manager at Christadelphian Heritage College Sydney. Philemon then worked as an ICT Trainer at Arthritis Research UK from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they joined Comprehend as an ICT Consultant, and in 2014, they became a Principal Consultant. From 2014 to 2020, they worked with TA Education, first as a Principal Consultant and then as the Head of Consultancy and Training. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director at TA Education.
Philemon Burney began their education in the year 2000, studying at Flinders University. Philemon completed their Bachelor of Information Technology degree at this institution in 2002. In 2004, Philemon decided to further their education by pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of New England. Philemon successfully completed this program in 2007. After a break in their education, Philemon attended WEA adult learning in 2013, where they obtained a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
