Faisal Mohammed Alshimmari

Faisal Mohammed ALShimmari serves as the Head of ESG & Corporate Strategy and an Executive Vice President at Mashreq since July 2022, previously holding the title of Senior Vice President, Head of Risk Strategy & Governance. As the Founding Chairman of the UAE Child Protection Association and a Founding Partner at Garden of Eden UAE, Faisal is a pioneer in sustainability, biodiversity, and organic horticulture. Additional roles include Non-Resident Consultant at the Emirates Center for Government Knowledge, Chairman & CEO of Digital Research Technologies, and Founding Vice Chairman of the Board at Tahaluf Al Emarat Technical Solutions. Faisal has also contributed as a columnist for Emarat Alyoum Newspaper and served as a Senior Training Instructor at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. Past positions include AI Instructor at Abu Dhabi Police College and IT Governance Manager at the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Zayed University and a Master of Science in Information Security from RMIT University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from United Arab Emirates University.
