Xuan Liu has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Summer Intern at Biogen Idec. In 2014, they interned at Pfizer. From 2009 to 2015, they served as a Research Assistant at the Boston University School of Public Health. Beginning in 2015, Xuan worked at Bai Shi Mei Bao, initially as a Senior Research Biostatistician, then as a Principal Statistician, and finally as an Associate Director. They joined Taiho Oncology, Inc. in 2022 as the Director of Biostatistics.
Xuan Liu completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Statistics from Nankai University between 2003 and 2007. Afterward, they pursued further studies at Boston University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Biostatistics from 2009 to 2011. Xuan then continued their academic journey at Boston University and successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biostatistics from 2011 to 2014.
