Afnan Al Arayyedh has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Deputy Manager at Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C. and Assistant Manager at Al Ahlia Insurance Company B.S.C. since August 2016. Afnan has also held roles as Senior Underwriter and Officer at Takaful International Company, where responsibilities included handling individual and group life insurance, medical quotations, and settlement of death claims. Educational qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Insurance from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) earned in 2012, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain (2002-2007), and the ALMI insurance designation from the Life Office Management Association.

Takaful International Company B.S.C. is the first Islamic Insurance Company in Bahrain. It was established in 1989. The Company provides a wide range of insurance covers and products consistent with the principles of Islamic Shari’a that serves the various needs of individuals and corporates. The Company is a subsidiary of GIG-Bahrain and is assigned a rating of A- Excellent by AM Best Credit Rating Agency. • Established in 1989. • In 1998 the Takaful International Co. was re-launched. The new name reflects the company's new futuristic vision and ambition to expand its business operations within and outside the Kingdom. • Listed in the Bahrain Stock Exchange as well as a member of the Bahrain Chamber of commerce and industry. • In 2008 the company was rated (BBB) with a stable outlook from Standard and Poor's rating agency. • In 2011 Awarded Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa award for Women Empowerment. • In 2013 the company was rated (B++) Secure with Stable Outlook by A.M.Best Rating Company. • In 2017 Awarded eGov Best application for smart devices on private sector award.
