Cameron Pelling has a diverse work experience, starting from 1994 as a Senior Accountant at Price Waterhouse, where they prepared financial statements and provided tax services. Cameron then joined Deloitte Australia in 1997 as a Senior Manager, leading risk management consulting assignments. In 2003, they moved to AMP as a Senior Manager, responsible for delivering annual audit plans and managing relationships with key clients. In 2006, they joined Macquarie Bank as a Division Director overseeing compliance and operational risk teams. Currently, Cameron is working at TAL Australia since 2016, initially as the General Manager of Risk, then as the Acting Chief Risk Officer, and currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer.
Cameron Pelling obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended St Augustines Marist Brothers College, Cairns from 1985 to 1990 but did not receive a degree. Cameron also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for Executive Education in Strategy and Organisation. In addition, they have memberships with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, although specific dates were not provided.
