Douglas Farrell is co-founder and Managing Partner of Quintet Yorkway. He has over 20 years of professional experience including real estate investment and private equity, investment banking and insolvency experience.
Douglas founded investment management firm Quintet Partners in 2016 and is currently a non-executive director of a number of Quintet’s investee companies including Talent International.
Prior to founding Quintet Partners, Douglas was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate Investment Banking for Citigroup in Australia & New Zealand, advising a diverse range of clients on over US$100 billion of completed mergers and acquisitions transactions in Australia & New Zealand, North America, Europe, North Asia and South East Asia. Douglas worked in investment banking roles at Citigroup, Lehman Brothers, Nomura Holdings and Deutsche Bank AG in Hong Kong and Australia.
Before his career in investment banking, Douglas was an insolvency practitioner in Sydney.
Douglas is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAA), received B Commerce (Accounting) and B Applied Finance degrees from Macquarie University and attended Sydney Grammar School.
