Richie Nguyen is Talkspace's Senior Vice President, Network and Provider Operations. Richie oversees Talkspace's network of therapists and psychiatry clinicians, focusing on network growth, provider experience, and quality. Richie comes to Talkspace with deep healthcare experience in strategy, operations, and general management. He most recently served as Vice President, Operations at Primary Medical Group, a private equity-backed healthcare services organization, where he built scalable systems and processes for sustainable and rapid growth. Richie also served as Senior Director, Regional IPA Operations at Optum, where he led his region to become one of Optum CA's top 2 performing regions. Richie was also a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group, where he led healthcare engagements and advised senior leadership of blue chip companies.
Richie started his career working for an HIV non-profit focused on providing social services to underserved communities. Richie holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Public Health from UC Berkeley.
