Prior to this role, Jake worked at News UK as a Digital Sports Reporter from September 2016 to October 2022, covering sports for The Sun. Jake's early experience includes a placement at The Independent as a Digital Sports Reporter in November 2015, where match previews and features were authored. Additionally, Jake contributed as a News Reporter for Brentwood Gazette during September 2015, engaged with the BBC as a Runner for Wimbledon in July 2015, and held various roles including bartender and magazine contributor earlier in the career.
