Ian West

Ian West is the current Senior Independent Director at TalkTalk and has held this position since May of 2022. Prior to that, they were the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at GDPR Associates from August of 2018 to May of 2022. Ian has also been the Chairman at SchoolMates from June of 2018 to May of 2022 and was on the Advisory Board for Global Data Protection Regulation at the DRM Institute from November of 2016 to March of 2019.

West has extensive experience in the field of data protection and has been working in the industry for over 15 years. Ian started their career at Consulting Insights as a Managing Partner before moving on to GDPR Associates and then TalkTalk. Ian has also been involved with the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence (APPG AI) and was a member of the Blue Prism Board of Directors.

Ian West has a bachelors from Tupton Hall and a BA Hons from Loughborough University in Design & Technology.
