Talladega College
Gary Edwards, Ed.D., currently serves as the Vice President and Dean of Students at Talladega College since October 2022, providing strategic leadership for the Office of Student Life. Previously, Gary held various leadership roles, including Dean of Students at Fisk University and Executive Director of Student Leadership and Academic Success Initiatives at Edward Waters University. At Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, Gary coordinated student activities and leadership development, while earlier experience includes academic counseling at the University of South Carolina Upstate and instructional roles. Gary holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Talladega College is located in an historic district of the city of Talladega, Alabama. The campus is on a plateau about 700 feet above sea level in the heart of a fertile valley in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Talladega’s main campus includes 39 buildings on 50 acres, surrounded by the city and gently rolling woodlands.
