Kyla Sanford is a skilled Food and Entertainment Reporter at Tallahassee Democrat, having contributed story ideas and articles focused on the local Tallahassee area since September 2022. Additionally, Kyla has taken on roles as a Producer at FAMU TV20 and as a Copyeditor for FAMU Journey Magazine from August to December 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Ambassador for Expensify and a Digital Content Intern at Moore, where responsibilities included managing multiple social media accounts and community engagement. Kyla also worked as a Cultural Activities Coordinator at the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center, where improvements in operations were achieved through teamwork and effective communication. Early in the career path, Kyla completed an Executive Internship at the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, focusing on client outreach and advertising campaigns. Kyla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University, complemented by studies in Journalism and Design at the University of Northern Colorado.
