Marina Brown is an accomplished author and writer with a diverse background in literature and journalism. Since 2012, Marina has been recognized for the FAPA Gold Medal-winning novel, "Land Without Mirrors," which explores the lives of children on a Caribbean island during WWII. In addition to literary work, Marina has contributed to several high-end publications, including Florida Design Magazine and Miami Home and Decor, focusing on architecture and interior design. As a freelance writer for the Tallahassee Democrat since 2005, Marina covers home and decor, health, and features, showcasing a range of topics. Previously, Marina worked as a correspondent for the St. Petersburg Times from 1999 to 2005. Marina holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University, obtained from 2003 to 2005.
