William Hatfield is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across multiple publications. Since April 2015, William has served as the Executive Editor at the Tallahassee Democrat. Prior to this role, William held the position of Editor at the Northwest Florida Daily News from March 2014 to March 2015, and previously worked as Editor for The Destin Log and Walton Sun from October 2007 to March 2014. Earlier in the career, William was the News Editor and Front Page Designer at the Northwest Florida Daily News from 2001 to 2007. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Master of Arts in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
