Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Strategic partnerships with various OEMs in the heavy industry contribute to a major part of TALPA's business development strategy. We work with industry leaders to create state-of-the-art digital solutions to optimize deployment, maintenance, and after-sales of heavy machinery in various industries.

Your mission within the business development team will be the acquisition of new strategic partners and expanding business with the existing accounts. You will be working in close cooperation with the customer success team to develop the ecosystem of digital solutions on TALPA's industrial intelligence platform.

Your mission:

• Finding interested partners willing to develop digital solutions for their equipment in collaboration with TALPA
• Creating and presenting business cases justifying the collaboration between the partners and TALPA
• Defining new features and applications to be developed by TALPA´s tech team
• Managing existing and new OEM key accounts

Your profile:

• Business education and/or at least 5 years of experience in business roles, preferably sales and marketing
• At least 3 years of experience working at heavy industry OEM-s (mobile machinery or key components) or dealerships of heavy industry mobile equipment
• Knowledge of sales, service and after-sales processes in the heavy industry, various approaches and supportive IT systems in these processes
• Good understanding of IT applications in the heavy industry, such as telematic systems, remote diagnostics, ERP, EAM and CRM systems
• Team player spirit with a self-starter attitude
• Perfect German and English skills
