Embedded Systems Developer (d/f/m)

In an interdisciplinary team of passionate pioneers, you will shape what our innovative solutions for the heavy industry look like.

Your mission:

• You work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the needs and requirements and feed these insights back into the development process of the IoT units
• You manage the development priorities of our hardware and software suppliers, closely monitor the progress and intervene where necessary
• You perform software tests and code reviews to ensure the deliverables meet the highest quality standards
• You remotely support the integration and commissioning of our IIOT units and assist during service and troubleshooting sessions
• You properly document all relevant information and results, share knowledge with the team and communicate the status and progress of development with all relevant stakeholders
• You keep an eye on the performance of our products, proactively spot issues and take the necessary actions

Your profile:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in embedded systems development
• Strong Python language programming skills
• Experience with Bash and Linux
• Experience in subcontracting and outsourcing of software and hardware development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A keen desire to learn, a self-starter attitude and the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment

Nice to have:

• extensive knowledge of CAN-Bus, RS-232, networks and other data interfaces
• knowledge about complex end-to-end IoT solutions
• Expertise in Go and Shell scripting languages is a must
• Proficiency in German will be advantageous.
