Anastasia Z. began their work experience in 2013 as an Intern at EF Education First. Anastasia then worked as a Translator at Kazan Center for Professional Translations before moving on to a role as an Event Manager at European Union Centre VOICES. In 2014, they became a Research Associate at Kazan Federal University and also took on the role of Project Coordinator and Member of the Board at DRJUG German-Russian Alumni Association. In 2015, Anastasia worked as a Graduate Student Consultant at Habitat for Humanity International. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Market Specialist and Program Manager at Meta. Most recently, they held the position of Associate Manager at Twitter from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Trust and Safety at Tandem - Language Exchange, starting in January 2023.

Anastasia Z. has a diverse educational background in the field of Public Policy and International Relations. Anastasia obtained a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Central European University in 2016. In the same year, they pursued another Master's Degree in Public Policy at Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals. Anastasia also completed the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy - Mundus MAPP from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Global Public Policy.

In 2016, Anastasia Z. participated in the Shanghai Summer School at Fudan University, focusing on BRICS and Chinese diplomacy. Prior to their Master's degrees, they earned a Specialist degree in International Relations and Affairs from Kazan State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014.

Apart from their academic achievements, Anastasia Z. has obtained several certifications. In 2023, they completed the "GDPR Compliance: Essential Training" from LinkedIn. In 2022, they obtained the certifications for "Technical Product Management" and "Become a Digital Trust & Safety Leader", also from LinkedIn. In 2014, they acquired the "Test DAF" certification from the Goethe-Institut e.V., and in 2013, they obtained the "TOEFL iBt" certification from The TOEFL® test.
