Kirsten Lightfoot

Kirsten Lightfoot is a seasoned professional in talent and development, currently serving as the Head of Talent & Development at Tandem Bank since January 2023. Prior to this, Kirsten held leadership roles in people development at Newcastle Building Society, where responsibilities included overseeing Head of People Development and Head of Leadership Development from January 2018 to December 2022. At Durham Students' Union, from January 2016 to December 2017, Kirsten was the Director of Learning, leading initiatives to foster a high-performance learning culture. Kirsten's extensive experience at Amec Foster Wheeler included roles such as L&D Manager, L&D Business Partner, and L&D Advisor between January 2008 and January 2016, managing talent strategies for around 4,000 employees. Earlier positions also involved serving as Lead Internal Verifier at Harris Associates/MCP and various roles at Acorn Learning Solutions and Protocol Skills, contributing to the design and implementation of training programs and apprenticeships. Kirsten holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Chichester, obtained from 1993 to 1996.
