Scott Throner

Scott Throner has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, working for two prominent companies. From August 1997 to March 2013, they held various roles at AstraZeneca, including Senior Scientist in Oncology Chemistry. At AstraZeneca, they also served as the Project Site Leader for the Electronic Laboratory Notebook Project from 2006 to 2008. In February 2019, they joined Tango Therapeutics as the Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry and was later promoted to Director of Medicinal Chemistry in February 2023.

Scott Throner earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Chemistry and Biology from Colorado State University in 1997. Scott then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Lehigh University from 1999 to 2003.
