Yong Liu

Yong Liu currently serves as the Executive Director at Tango Therapeutics, leading the CMC team for drug substance and drug product development, and representing the CMC function in cross-functional drug development teams. Prior to this role, Yong Liu held various senior positions at Merck, including Senior Principal Scientist in the Department of Small Molecule Analytical Research and Development, where responsibilities included chairing CMC teams and leading analytical development for drug products. Yong Liu's extensive experience encompasses overseeing analytical support for multiple clinical programs, method development, regulatory filings, and collaboration with CROs and CMOs, complemented by a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from Rutgers University.
