Tapcart is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative for a temporary 3-month contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating top-of-funnel demand by conducting outreach through cold calls, emails, social channels, etc. You will work closely with our Sales, Partner, and Marketing teams to identify and qualify opportunities that contribute to the overall growth of the company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales representative to quickly ramp up and help us grow the business. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Prospect new business opportunities with top DTC brands on Shopify.
  • Develop account plans and conduct personalized outreach to stakeholders within your territory.
  • Generate qualified opportunities via cold calls, email, and social media channels.
  • Participate in campaign sprints, field events, and partner initiatives to drive top-of-funnel performance.
  • Play an active role in the development of outreach strategies, content, and messaging.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospects and position the Tapcart value proposition effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM.

WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Business Development or similar role
  • Proven track record of generating qualified opportunities through cold outreach
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly and thrive in a remote position
  • Polished and professional written/verbal communication skills
  • Coachable and ready to take your sales skills to the next level
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Chorus
  • Bachelor’s Degree
