Daniel McNamara

Daniel McNamara is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Head of Analytics Engineering and a Data Scientist at Taptap Send since January 2022. Previously, McNamara worked as a Data Scientist at Bulb from March 2020 to December 2021 and held the position of Data Specialist with the Australian Labor Party from April 2015 to June 2019. Additional experience includes a Software Engineering Internship at Google and a Data Scientist Internship at Microsoft in 2017. McNamara's career began with a consultant role at Nous Group and included a position in Sales and Data Science at Kaggle, along with a Research Assistant role at the University of Melbourne. Academically, McNamara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computer Science from The Australian National University, as well as a BA/BSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, History, and Environmental Studies from the University of Melbourne.
