Mr. Al-Fawaz joined TAQA as a member of the Board of Directors in April 2015. He currently holds the position of Global Chief Financial Officer at the National Industrialization Company (TASNEE) and has more than three decades of experience in the petrochemical industry.
Prior to joining TASNEE, Mr. Al-Fawaz held several executive positions at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) including Vice President of Finance, General Manager of Finance, and General Manager of Accounting.
Mr. Al-Fawaz holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from King Saud University, and has accumulated multiple management and leadership qualifications from leading global institutions over the course of his career.
Additionally, Mr. Al-Fawaz serves on the Board of Directors of several different companies, including Malath Cooperative Insurance & Reinsurance Company, TASNEE & Sahara Olefins Company, Saudi Airline Cargo and Alba (Bahrain), among others.
