Adham Abubakr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and engineering, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Smart Vision since June 2022. Adham's background includes a long-standing role as Business Development Manager at both QuillEnergy and TAQA Arabia - Power Group, where responsibilities encompass the development of power generation, electricity distribution, and renewable projects across the MENA region. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo and additional training in renewable energy, Adham has also held positions ranging from Speaker Coordinator at GTM - Global Trade Matters to various technical roles in the gas and automotive industries. Continuous professional development includes training from Dale Carnegie and the International Academy for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency.

TAQA Solar another SPV that falls under the umbrella of TAQA Power, has been the first 100% Egyptian company to finalize a 65MW PV solar power plant in Benban (Aswan)-part of one of the biggest PV solar parks in the world. The project is under the Egyptian government’s feed- in traffic program and started commercial operation in Feb 2019.
