Justin Snapp is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Taraxa.io, where development focuses on an IoT-friendly blockchain framework optimized for high-speed smart contracts and transactional throughput since August 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, where Justin developed the first 802.11ax transceivers using advanced CMOS processes from February 2016 to August 2018. Justin spent over a decade at Stanford University, first as a Postdoctoral Scholar developing microfabricated cathodes for thermionic energy converters, and later as a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering under advisor Thomas H. Lee. Justin also taught advanced graduate courses in RC IC design and contributed research on high-speed flash A/D designs and substrate noise coupling. Earlier experience includes an internship at Intersil Corporation focusing on operational amplifier design. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
