John Davis Motoomull is an experienced automation technologist with a strong background in building management systems and electrical instrumentation. Currently serving as an Intermediate Automation Technologist at Tarco since May 2023, John specializes in automating solutions, including the migration from legacy systems and providing breakdown support. Previously, John held positions as a Field Service Intern at Honeywell, where responsibilities included assisting with the FAT and commissioning of controllers, and as a Senior Application Engineer at Quantum Automation Pte Ltd, focusing on installation and commissioning. John's foundational experience includes serving as an Electrical and Instrumentation Cadet Engineer at STEAG STATE POWER INC, where critical skills in troubleshooting and equipment maintenance were developed. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Xavier University and completed studies at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Key technical skills encompass PLC programming, chiller plant optimization, and various monitoring and control systems.
