Wesley Shields

Wesley Shields currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at Target Hospitality, providing legal guidance for the publicly-owned hospitality and catering company since August 2019. Prior to this role, Wesley was Corporate Legal Counsel at Weatherford, supporting the finance and treasury department from July 2018 to August 2019. Wesley's extensive experience includes a tenure as Managing Director and Corporate Counsel at Dynegy, where legal support was provided to various departments from 2006 to 2018. Earlier in Wesley's career, work as an Associate at Dewey Ballantine LLP and Baker Botts LLP involved representing clients in finance transactions and corporate matters. Wesley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.
