Sophie Vlahakis

Sophie Vlahakis is an accomplished legal and corporate professional with extensive experience in warranty services and litigation. As Vice President of Warranty Services at Tarion Warranty Corporation since October 2008, Vlahakis oversees day-to-day operations of the Condominium Common Elements team and is involved in strategic business planning and budget management. Previously, Vlahakis served as Senior Counsel-Corporate Counsel for Tarion, representing the corporation in various civil actions and managing external counsel. Prior to joining Tarion, Vlahakis was a Litigation Partner at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, specializing in personal injury, product liability, and class action cases. Vlahakis holds a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Leadership Certification from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Criminology and History from the University of Toronto.
