Rory Sweeney

Senior Animator at Tarsier Studios

Rory Sweeney has a strong background in animation, with experience at a variety of gaming companies. They served as a Senior Animator at Tarsier Studios, where they worked on character animation using Maya and Unreal, with a focus on creating seamless character movement and interactions. Prior to this role, Rory was an Animator at SKYMOONS INTERACTIVE, responsible for rigging and keying character animations in 3DS Max and establishing pipelines to Unity. They also collaborated closely with code to develop new systems. Before that, Rory worked as an Animator at SolidAnim, focusing on facial and body mocap data and creating pipelines for prop animation and implementation in Unreal Engine. They started their career as an Animator at Bluedoor Games, where they worked on a 3D platformer developed in Unreal 4, rigging characters, props, and wildlife and contributing to the design and implementation of new systems and animation logic.

Rory Sweeney attended the University of Abertay from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Arts.
