Triinu Niiberg-Pikksööt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical psychology and management. Since August 2008, Triinu has served as a Member of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer at Katriito. Additionally, Triinu co-founded Migrevention in February 2020 and has been a Clinical Psychologist at Tartu University Hospital since 2012. Educationally, Triinu holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tartu, where coursework spanned from 2001 to 2010, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at the same institution since 2021.

Tartu University Hospital

Tartu University Hospital (Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum) founded in 1804 and is the largest health care provider and only university hospital in Estonia. Healthcare services are provided to all people in Estonia, the largest selection of medical specialties is represented. Unique to Estonia, it includes services from prenatal counselling, obstetrics and neonatal intensive care to full treatment and counselling of elderly patients. In addition, the tight co-operation between the University and the University Hospital creates mutual synergy between preclinical and clinical research. The hospital’s mission is to offer people-centered and science-based healthcare services as a center of excellence in academic medicine.
