Merinda Clayton's work experience begins in 2014 at ICON Consulting, where they served as the Lead Operations Manager. In this role, they managed over 150 clients with assets totaling over $150 million. Merinda was responsible for building financial plans, implementing client plans, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and advisers.

In 2016, Clayton joined Spacelabs Healthcare as the Sr. Manager of Customer Solutions. Merinda oversaw operations for the Spacelabs Global Equipment Servicing Center, The Factory Certified Program, US Field Service, US Customer Support, and the Global Installed Base. Clayton successfully reduced the non-value-added processing time at the repair center, improving the average turnaround time from 17 days in FY17 to just 5 days by FY20. Merinda also collaborated with department managers to make critical decisions.

Most recently, in 2020, Clayton took on the position of Director of Sales Operations at Tasso, Inc. Their responsibilities include developing and implementing commercial operations strategies and tactics. Merinda is tasked with creating customer-centric operational systems, defining procedures, managing services, and providing project management support for diverse commercial initiatives, including launch activities.

Merinda Clayton obtained a Green Belt Certification (GB) from Spacelabs Healthcare in October 2017. In terms of formal education, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Operations and Management Science at Washington State University. Merinda is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the same university.
